چکیده

common disease defined as benign vas− cular malformations. About 200 cases of diffuse cavernous hemangioma of the rectum have been reported in the litera− ture. The clinical presentation is repeti− tive painless rectal bleeding causing ane− mia [1 ±4]. Case 1. A 30−year−old man was admitted to the hospital because of recurrent gas− trointestinal bleedings, treated for 9 years with blood transfusions. Nine years pre− viously his right leg was amputated be− cause of vascular malformations. Colo− noscopy revealed vascular malformations around the whole circumference of the rectum (l" Fig. 1, 2). Low anterior resec− tion with mucosectomy and coloanal sleeve anastomosis did not seem feasible [5].
